This page has been created to provide Extension personnel with resources for use in developing the 2025-2030 Plan of Work. Content will be added across the planning timeline. State-level situation statements, logic models and resources are being designed with a holistic approach, encompassing content from all program areas as applicable.

A collection of plan of work resources designed for county use are linked below. Descriptors are included with each link.

• Planning Guide for Developing New County Plans of Work (2024-2025) - Timeline of steps and action items with county action items highlighted in blue.
• County Plan of Work Overview - General overview of the plan of work development process.
• County Plan of Work Template - Worksheet to use in drafting each emphasis for your county plan of work. Download and save this Word document locally to use to create the plan for each emphasis determined by your county. Entry blocks for 'learning opportunities' and 'evaluation' may be copied and pasted to expand beyond the initial number included in the template. The individual entry fields will expand as you add your text. This format will be used for submitting the Plan of Work through KERS in spring 2025.

• County Plan of Work Development: Facilitating Issues Discussion and Prioritization - Resource guide for county use in planning data presentations, issues discussions and prioritization.

• An Introduction to the Extension Plan of Work: Fall 2024 - PowerPoint slide deck to adapt and customize as best fits for local use. Download a copy of the file via this SharePoint link, then edit locally. See the notes section of each slide for talking points and/or customization tips.

• Situation Statements for State Concentrations - Beginning with the new plan of work in July 2025, Extension programming will be correlated to twenty-four state-level concentrations. Situation statements describing each of these concentrations are available via this link as both an html page and PDF document.

• Plan of Work Webinar Recording - A recording of the webinar from September 11, 2024. 

• Frequently Asked Questions - This document shares frequently asked questions regarding the plan of work process. It will be updated periodically as new questions arise. The questions and answers available at this time are through November 12, 2024.
