Amanda Hardy is the Henderson County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences. She has worked for extension for 18 years. Amanda began her Extension career in McLean County as the Family and Consumer Sciences Agent in 2005 and transferred to Henderson County in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Master of Arts in Education in Adult Education both from Western Kentucky University.

Amanda is originally from Nashville, Tennessee but has lived in Owensboro nearly 20 years. She is married to Clint Hardy, the Agricultural and Natural Resources Agent in Daviess County. They have two children, Colton, 16 years old and Madalyn, 14 years old.  Amanda is an active member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoys traveling to new places, spending lots of time with family and friends, cooking and a good shopping day.
